Suck? Lick? What does it matter, you’ve got her tit in your mouth and that’s all that counts!

No lie, for a lot of men – and, let’s face it, for a lot of women – that’s enough.

But for the mammary connoisseurs here in ANR land, there something more. There’s this somewhat vague but incredibly erotic oral position called “the latch.”

Everybody on the ANR boards talks about “the latch,” but not too many of these posters actually know what “the latch” is.

They believe they are committed to the process of adult breastfeeding, to the bond that develops when a woman nurses her partner. They may even be engaged in an attempt at re-lactation. But when it comes right down to it, they’ve got no real clue what it means to “suckle,” and no chance of developing a “latch.”

Glossary of ANR Terms:

• Nipple: The very tip of the breast, the protuberance on the end of tit, the nibby top of the boob. The part that gets hard, that stands up, that likes to be squeezed and touched and sucked… oh, now back to the blog.
• Areola: The darker area surrounding the nipple. The latest part of the breast the scrutiny of plastic surgery: see my post about areola reduction surgery.
• Milk Duct: Some people think that milk only comes out through the slit of the nipple – hey, I thought that until I first nursed, so don’t be embarrassed. Actually, milk comes out of ducts nestled throughout the nipple and areola. (You can see this demonstrated in the two adult breastfeeding videos I posted and describe in earlier posts, this one about the most inept nurser in the world, and this one about the very hot Heather feeding the incredibly sultry Magdalene.)
• Teat: The word “teat” can refer to the nipple, the breast, or perhaps more commonly to a non-human breast or udder, but in the lexicon of ANR here at Adult Wet Nurse, it refers to the perfect combination of nipple and areola the suckler needs so he (or she) can truly latch on.
• Lactation: the truly remarkable act of producing breast milk that can be pumped, sprayed, or sucked from one’s bosom. The most common cause of lactation is pregnancy, but it can be induced by a combination of diet, massage, stimulation, pumping, suctioning, and, most critically, suckling. But every part of the regimen requires discipline and dedication, most critically, the suckling. A woman’s breasts must be suckled deeply several times each day and night. Every day and every night. For a long, long, blissfully long time.
• Re-Lactation: the even more remarkable act of producing breast milk after a dry spell of months or years strictly for the purpose of erotic pleasure or nursing. For a long, long, long, blissfully long, long, long time.
• Forced Re-Lactation: a particularly kinky BDSM fantasy, wherein women – and men – are bound and pumped and suctioned and suckled and stimulated over and over and over again, night and day, until their tits just gush with…. oh, right. The blog.
• ABF: Adult breastfeeding, which in my mind, refers to the actual act of an adult drinking milk directly from a woman’s tit. On the interwebs, this is pretty rare, although, based on the world population figures, must be going on everywhere there’s a baby sleeping tonight. I mean, why not?
• ANR: An adult nursing relationship can be “wet,” meaning the woman involved is actually lactating, or “dry,” meaning she’s not lactating, but may be attempting to lactate or re-lactate. Traditionally, an ANR has referred to a relationship somewhat like but possibly outside of a marriage: A couple who, if they’re not married (and possibly married to other people) meet frequently and regularly over a period of months or years for the purpose of prolonged suckling – two hours, three hours at a stretch – but who in every other respect have a “kink-free” sex life. If they’re married, the ANR couple may have a healthy sex life or one that’s more tepid: could be that the marriage is more along the matriarchal lines of nurturance and fidelity. Even if they’re not married, the ANR couple may actually have a very chaste relationship: no sex, no orgasms, nothing more than some cuddling and suckling between two special friends. Maybe they wear matching Christmas sweaters during the holidays and share secret jokes about sore boobies. Disgusting!!
• ANR in the Real World: In case you haven’t noticed, this is not your old school ANR. Which means, this is the place to put the emphasis on the first two words in the phrase: This is blog is for ADULTS who enjoy or fantasize about or dream of NURSING. Sometimes this is just two people, and sometimes more people – more partners – are involved. Sometimes ANR is to spice up married sex life, and sometimes it’s just one fantasy in a long list of erotic fetish fantasies.
